The most wonderful time of the year. Everyone is lightened up by the thought that there will be abundant food. Gifts that would be opened. Loved ones to celebrate with. But, what if it would be the complete opposite? What if there would be no food on the table? What if there would be no gifts to be opened. What if there is no family for your to share the season with? Would you still consider it as the most wonderful time of the year? Our country celebrates Christmas the longest, we do it so extra. Why not? it is for our Lord Jesus. However, is the usual Christmas extravagance true for all? I am sure that it is not. I have felt it once before. And it was an eye opener for me. The most wonderful time of the year. Especially for those who loves Starbucks. It is known that every year the coffee chain releases their planner. Unique designs every year that would make us enjoy our cup of drink even more.  For 2019, Starbucks released two variants which allowed us to choose between the usual planner or a travel organizer.  I was so excited when I first saw the travel organizer because it is the first time that they released such. It is available in two colors, Sienna and Dark Teal. I have been getting the planner since 2009 and I think it is about time to try something new.  The sticker collection started November 2 and being the person that I am, who is basically excited about everything I got my stickers on the first day. 7:25 in the morning. Hard work, yes, I’ve been a big fan of this word. Whenever I want to reach or to achieve something it is the first word that enters my mind. Hard work taught me a lot of things. One of them is that “success is sweeter when you worked hard for it”. It also taught me discipline and focus. I can go on with a lot more actually.  It is true. Hard work allowed me to reach greater heights. People loved me and supported me because of my hard work. They never saw me complain nor slack. In fact I was amazed of my abilities to get what I want because of hard work. However, just recently, I sat down and looked at my old planners and read my rants. I was so hard working. Battle of the Milk Tea 2018 Milk tea craze. Yeah, hindi na bago to so do not act so cool. Carrying your large cup of milktea while looking at everyone like “hey! look, milk tea im cool”. Haha bat ako galit. Haha So eto na nga. Since 2009, milk tea has been in the circulation already. Yes, it is around the UBelt that early. The first one that I have tasted was “Simple Life”.  And from there it never stopped. Mas marami na atang milktea sa katawan ko kesa dugo.  I actually made a blog about my Top 5 Milk tea back in 2012. So I am creating a new one to compare. “Proud to be Pinoy”, i’ll never get tired of saying this. Yes, why not. There are a lot of things we must be proud of. From food, destinations, arts and the people itself. But every country has its fair share of lapses. We are not perfect. It is normal. But we can do something to avoid it. Of all the culture that we are known for the “Filipino time” is the most unlikely. In all honesty naiirita ako sa concept na to. “Filipino time” is basically being LATE. On a meeting, event or whatever that requires an exact time. This is something I despise. Why? because for me being late is disrespectful. We destroy someone else’s schedule. We steal from them the time that they could have been spending with their family. Or the time that they might be resting. Being late reflects a lot about our personality. It reflects a lot on how we prepare for a task. It shows how we treat and look at the people around us.  For me the saying “better late than never” ...

I have been so giddy to visit the “Surfing Capital of the North”. I am not vocal about this but I do love the sea and the beach. It is known that San Juan, La Union is the best surfing spot in this province. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the metro.
